Business checking accounts can be opened at any Hello Credit Union branch.
Federal law requires certain personal identification documents to open a financial account. Each person doing business on this account will need a valid photo ID, such as a Florida Driver’s License or state-issued ID.
All business accounts must maintain a separate personal account in good standing. The business needs to be registered with the State of Florida through Sunbiz.org and required Annual Report Filing showing Business is active annually. This is required to open any business account.
As of January 1, 2024, many companies doing business in the United States must report information about their beneficial owners—the individuals who ultimately own or control the company—to the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
